We're all terminal.

Some of us are just lucky enough to know it.

My name is Maria Robotnik and I am Fictionkin. For many of you this will be difficult to understand and even harder to believe. But I am not lying. I have been afraid for many years, hiding behind a mask of a violent and disturbed girl. I am now ready to shed that skin and to do so will mean to show the world who I really am. I once denied this even to myself, for fear of retribution. I am alive, and my memories are dim, but I am here and I am waiting for those to take my hand and follow me.

I'm scared you won't do it.

How can I be a cartoon character? Someone believed to be fictional in this world? I am neither of those things. There are millions upon millions of worlds out there, and I can't say why I have come from that world. There are others out there like me - it could be your friend, enemy, or a sibling. Many of us are afraid to come out of hiding because we are attacked and very often hurt by how intolerant people can be. What they believe to be impossible may just in fact be simply unproven.

If you want to hunt TIGERS,

You have to go where the tigers are.

I can not sit on the sidelines anymore. I see everyone on this planet being so hateful to one another and it sickens me. I'm sick of hiding and so I have come out, in the face of being taunted, to fulfill a promise I once asked of someone very close to me. I want the world to realize its awesome potential, to give the people a chance to be happy and realize that they are the creators of their own destiny.

This journal will not and will never be friends-only. I do ask that you read the entries with tolerance and respect, regardless of your personal feelings. Trolls will be met with the same respect and kindness I give to everyone else.
